Alexi Aguilar

Meet Ana Alexi AguilarHey, I鈥檓 Alexi, and I鈥檓 excited to be part of the Wellness Ambassador team! I鈥檓 a first-year college student and I鈥檓 majoring in Mechanical Engineering. As someone who鈥檚 passionate about mental health and well-being, I want to help support spaces and set up events where students can have fun and feel comfortable being themselves. My wise friend once told me 鈥淚 know when I don鈥檛 feel my best it鈥檚 hard to perform my best鈥, and personally I鈥檝e really resonated with that and have been inspired to live by the idea that asking for help is not only okay鈥攊t鈥檚 actually a sign of strength. My goal as an Ambassador is to spread those good vibes and make sure everyone knows they鈥檝e got support here with amazing resources like our Wellness Center and free access to outside services. Outside of school, I鈥檓 all about learning new instruments, rock climbing, reading, and traveling to cool places. Let鈥檚 create some positive energy together!

Martha Burcea

Meet Martha BurceaHi everyone, I鈥檓 Martha, and I joined the wonderful Wellness Ambassadors team this fall. I moved to the USA in February, and since April, I鈥檝e been studying at Foothill College, pursuing a biology degree to help me become a dentist. I鈥檓 incredibly grateful to the Foothill community because, thanks to them, I鈥檝e been able to integrate into a new society, overcome the language barrier more easily, make friends, and reaffirm my desire to help others. Coming from a country where mental health is still not a priority, I feel privileged to have the opportunity to learn so much about this field. I love traveling and discovering new things, I enjoy music, I鈥檓 fascinated by the human body, and I鈥檓 passionate about making a difference in the way we care for people.

Rightful Fong Weng Han

Meet Rightful Fong Weng Han

What鈥檚 up, everybody? My name is Rightful, and I am a first-year economics student here at 性奴调教. In the Spring of 2025, I took a huge leap to cross literally across the world from my home country, Malaysia, to the US for my studies. I am a person who loves to travel as I like the concept of going to a foreign country; that makes everything really interesting from food to buildings to culture. I also enjoy running in my free time as well as reading financial news. I have always believed that mental health is a really important thing, as it controls your motivation and your day-to-day decisions. We all strive to be the best versions of ourselves, but if we don鈥檛 feel well mentally, then it鈥檚 like a runner who has a broken leg who won't be able to perform their best.  Being aware and caring for your own mental health is a duty you owe to yourself and your loved ones, so if you ever feel that you are not in the right state, see a counselor immediately, as it is better to do something than do nothing at all.

Vivian Lai

Meet VivianHi, my name is Vivian. I am a second year student majoring in Psychology. My journey has been marked by resilience in the face of adversity, overcoming the challenges of racism, cultural barriers, and ageism. I am learning to embrace the opportunity to defy stereotypes and dismantle discriminatory narratives, and to cultivate an appreciation for diversity and a commitment to bridging understanding. My goal is to help others facing similar struggles, fostering a community that thrives on inclusivity and celebrates the strength that arises from overcoming adversity. Besides being an active officer at the Psychology Club and Active Minds Club, you can find me working at the Learning and Writing Center. I love traveling and trying different ethnic foods.

Hannah Martin

Meet Hannah MartinHi! My name is Hannah Martin, and I am excited to be joining the Wellness Ambassador Team! I am a first-year student majoring in Business Administration from Sydney, Australia. After arriving in the US and adjusting to a new routine and culture, I have become passionate about helping students feel connected and supported. My goal as a Wellness Ambassador is to create a welcoming space where students can thrive, while also connecting them with the services our Mental Health and Wellness Centre provide. Having experienced a lack of community in my previous university studies at home, I am committed to help other students build connections here at Foothill. In my free time, I love to craft, travel and meet new people!

Michelle Thi

Meet Michelle ThiHi everyone! This is Ye Thi but I go by Michelle too so it's easier and less hassle. I am a third-year student here at Foothill majoring in Public Health Science and doing my prerequisites for Dental Hygiene Program. As an international student, I know how crucial an individual's wellbeing is, especially when we all are away from home. When I first moved here two years ago, I was welcomed with heaps of love and warmth from my peers and professors here at Foothill and I really want to spread this love and kindness as a wellness student ambassador. I enjoy exploring new places, eating out, doing Pilates and going to music festivals in my free time.

Isha Vyas

Meet Isha VyasHi, my name is Isha Vyas, and I'm a first-year student majoring in computer science and engineering. As someone who attended a very academically competitive high school, there was lots of pressure on my peers and me to be the best without any support. Even when my peers reached out for some help, they were looked down upon. My goal as a Wellness Ambassador is to help create an environment that uplifts and supports everyone on campus. In my free time, I enjoy going on walks, watching Formula 1, and reading.
