Student Housing Operations Coordinator
The Student Housing Operations Coordinator provides support and direction for student learning and academic success while managing the overall administrative, supervisory, and community experiences for graduate students in facilities of various levels of occupancy. The position requires the ability to have direct interactions with professional staff, faculty, and students, including student leaders and student staff.
Public Safety Officer
Under general supervision, performs duties to ensure the safety and security of university students, patients, visitors, and employees; applies crime risk and safety hazard prevention techniques, methods, practices, and enforces University laws and regulations; exercises the power of arrest as an armed Public Safety Department employee.
Public Safety Dispatcher
Under direct supervision, is responsible to receive calls for and dispatch security services; operates base radios; answers telephones; monitors alarm systems and closed circuit TV screens; relays radio/telephone communications; monitors record systems of the department. This position is for third shift: hours are 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Unarmed Security Officer
Under direct supervision of the Unarmed Security Program Supervisor, unarmed security staff will perform duties that ensure the safety and security of the ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì community members by performing security duties at specifically assigned posts.
Graduate Assistant Positions
In collaboration with the School of Education’s Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration (HESAA) program, the Division of Student Development is actively recruiting graduate assistants for the 2024-25 academic year.
The Division of Student Development is driven by the mission to provide programs, services and experiences that help students develop as leaders. Our goal is to help shape students into successful graduates who are holistically formed, critically reflective and socially and personally responsible. The division comprises 14 departments and employs more than 200 professional staff who support graduate and undergraduate students and initiatives at the University.
In addition, the division employs more than 40 graduate assistants who work closely alongside administrative staff to fulfill the mission of the University. The division strongly believes in supporting the education of aspiring higher education professionals, and our staff is committed to providing meaningful, immersive learning opportunities for graduate students. We offer mentoring, supervision, and holistic support in a cohort-based model aligned with Catholic, Jesuit teaching.
Compensation for all GA positions during the 2024-2025 academic year includes $1,350/month and a tuition scholarship of $9,750/year. Graduate assistants are also eligible for enrollment in ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì’s graduate student health insurance coverage. If personal coverage through ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì is waived, this benefit is forfeited — it has no cash value.
In some graduate assistant roles, additional campus accommodations may be provided as a requirement of specific job responsibilities. Any remuneration beyond standardized compensation will be listed within the specific job description.
